All-Day Markets
The Mayor's office of Ningbo proudly boasts that Ningob has 52 indoor "free markets", of which 18 are produce markets (the other markets sell clothing, building materials, which are major industries in Ningbo). All-day markets are conveniently scattered throughout the city to serve 30,000 - 50,000 people. These markets operate from 4:30 am - 7: 00 pm.

Stall rental fee	RMB 100 (US$ 12.00)
Management	RMB 70 (US$ 8.40)
Turnover taxes	RMB 86 (US$ 10.30)
Total	RMB 256 (US$ 30.70)

These fees are typical for a resllers who occupy a two-meter stall and sell general produce. Farmers are not charged turnover taxes, while resellers are.
