This private broker has a permanent stall at the market. He just bought a truck load of tomatoes from a farmer in Zhejiang province, who had brought the tomatoes to the market in a rented truck. The broker paid the farmer in cash on the spot and will stay at the market until he sells out this lot of tomatoes, which he estimates will take 2 - 3 days.  Then he'll buy another lot of any type of   produce from another farmer who comes in a few days later.
