• Chongwenmen Supermarket, a large government-run market reminiscent of shops before 1985.
  
  
• Hong Qiao Market, a private free market, originally outdoor and recently moved indoors.
  
  
• Pingfang Farmers' Market, a rural market hall  in the Chaoyang District; built and run by local farmers.
