Jin Tai Road Free Market

Along one of Beijing's main streets in the Chaoyang District is the Jin Tai Road Free Market, a neatly organized and well-developed free market. There is no entrance to this market. Stalls are lined up along the sidewalk on one side of  a wide, 4-lane street. Each vendor is assigned a cubicle with a built-in display stand.


Stalls for 150 vendors.
Most vendors are resellers, not farmers.
