In Beijing, one version closely resembles a McDonald's McMuffin. It's a pan fried pocket bread with a sunnyside-up egg inserted into the pocket. RMB 1.00 (US$ 0.12) per piece.

 In Shanghai, a scrambled egg is cooked on top of a flour pancake.  It's then topped with one "deep-fried devil", finely chopped chives and sesame seeds and rolled up like a scroll. Cost RMB 1.7 (US$ 0.21).
