A dough, studded chopped green onions, is rolled to an 18" round and slowly fried.  When oil bubbles through, it's flipped for final frying. As it fries, it puffs up to about double its thickness and becomes a focaccia-type bread.  RMB 0.3 (US$ 0.036) buys about 1/4 of this cake.
