In Shanghai, some versions of "shao bing" are crispy like crackers and others are flaky like biscuits.  All types cost RMB 0.6 (US$0.07). The Beijing version is a flaky dough covered with hundreds of sesame seeds and sells for RMB 0.5 each (US$ 0.06).
